Entrance Ramp

There is an entrance ramp to the info superhighway being built right here at my little rancho. I am over the moon. Ecstatic. Joyful.
So what, there's an elephant on the roof. Who cares? It's a really fast elephant! This is my final post from dial-upville, folks. In a matter of minutes I will be cruising at speeds heretofore never experienced in our little wilderness. I can hardly wait!

Whoa...whoa. You still had dial-up? I am stunned. It never occurred to me that it would even be possible to blog with dial-up. I may be spoiled, since I've had wireless high-speed for maybe six years, but I really didn't know anyone still used dial-up. I guess living in a metropolitan area where every coffee shop has free wireless is a little different from living where you do. In any case, congratulations! You cannot imagine how dramatically your life will change. I'm no technogeek, but I still remember very clearly what a revelation it was when I got high speed!

Congratulations! I broke down for DSL after a year with no internet at home (Blogging at work interfered with productivity a wee bit). I am sure that you will enjoy it.
