Books, anyone?

So I was going to come in here today and post about these two local people who do great things - one with soap and one with lotion bars, and tell you all about my exciting day signing a lot of books, big stacks of them.
And then my daughter called me and told me she'd been in an accident ("...but I'm ok mom...but my car is totaled..and the other girl is going to the hospital...and my airbag went off, but I am ok, mom, really"). I've decided to post tomorrow about the cool local things. Tonight I am just going to try not to scream. If that's ok.

Oh bless your heart! I popped in to say that I'm really excited about the teaser to stalk the mailman on Thursday and I read about your daughter.NOTHING in the world is worse than one of those heart stopping phone calls from a child. Thank heavens that she is okay, hug her tight and hug her again. Even if she isn't particularly interested. Then----- do something GREAT for yourself!!!

I know you aren't into television but today's Gilmore Girls rerun was basically exactly your day...without the knitting book autographing. Glad she is okay =/

My thoughts are with you--I have made that phone call to my parents! I am so glad that she is fine.

I'm glad Girl is OK. And I hope the other girl's injuries are easy treated. Well, on the bright side, at least this happened while you were home and not "on tour." It would be really hard to get that call when you were far away.

Also, it's great that more books are finally in.
