Thanksgiving Bonus
I am crying over my mail again. "Why" you ask? Because the United States Postal Service in their infinite wisdom has returned to me that which was lost. One bag of mother love, sent from Massachusetts to Indiana, rerouted and returned from whence it came.
Hug a postal worker today. I am unbelievably overjoyed at the return of this package!! Yes, everything is intact; the Levellers, the USB cable for the camera, one pair of gauntlets and two unique hats. Hey, Meg, think Laura wants her birthday present for Christmas?

Hi! Well, you made it this far, awesome! Please go ahead and leave a comment, because I love to read them. They validate me, give me a reason for living, that sort of thing (no pressure). Be aware, though, that I can't respond to your comment unless you give blogger your email address, sad but true. So if you have a question, please leave your address so I can answer it directly.
C'mon...write something!
AHHHHH!!!! I'M SO EXCITED RIGHT NOW!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteHooray for proof that the post office can do something good for you!
ReplyDeleteAs opposed to my "We couldn't tell who your mail was addressed to even though you had the address on the front so we destroyed your check instead of sending it back to you" mail that happened a couple weeks ago.
Isn't it exciting when the USPS gets something right? My mailman was shot (yes really) about 8 months ago and it is hard to believe no one wants the route. So we get the fill in people who want extra shifts. They have been delivering the mail with (true story) lights on their hats and the mail arrives around 7:30 in the evening. They, quite frankly, deserve more than hugs.
ReplyDeleteSo glad your story turned out well!
Want the pattern for the Canadian tuque! Pretty please?
